Cosmopolitan chic
Metropolitan, from Century Furniture, pays homage to the cosmopolitan mystique and allure of major cities around the world. Scaled a bit smaller to fit urban living spaces, this sophisticated collection of upholstered sectional seating and complementary occasional and dining tables is perfect for roof decks, penthouse apartments, condominiums, lofts, and new-century architecture.
Sustainable material
Metropolitan is engineered with marine-grade, weather-resistant teak frames. Century sources this teak from a renewable plantation forest. The pieces are available in three finishes: Borneo, Sumatra, and Timor. Built and finished like quality indoor furniture., Metropolitan is designed and engineered to perform beautifully with full-time outdoor exposure (with routine maintenance).
Aesthetics + Performance
A superior collection of high-performance fabrics, many of which were designed to compliment the collection, are woven from 100% solution-dyed, UV-stable acrylic fibers that resist fading, deterioration, and mildew. For indoor use, Century's 2000 fabrics and trims or COM may be specified as well. Century's innovative Driluxe cushions are constructed of a water-repellent cover surrounding a high-resiliency foam core and wrapped with 100% polyester fiber, which is compliant with CAL 117 flame-retardant standards. Metropolitan is detailed with nickel chrome-plated solid brass and Absolute Black honed granite.
